Monthly Trail Maintenance
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, the Sturbridge Trails Committee hosts a trail maintenance work day to assign volunteers to priority projects. Bring gloves and water, we’ll take care of the rest.
Work days start at 8am from the Riverlands Parking Lot. Projects are availale for 2, 3, or 4 hour spans depending on the time you’re willing to give.

Sturbridge Trails Committee
The committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month, typically at the Center Office Building at 301 Main St. Meetings start between 6-7pm and run until 9pm.
Town residents are welcome to attend if they have topics or proposals for the committee, or if they would like information about specific properties or projects.

Weekday Maintenance Crew
We are fortunate to have several volunteers that maintain our trails on a regular basis, some nearly full time! Equipment, tools, and vehicles are provided by the town and contributing to day-to-day trail work is a phenomenal way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
If you’re interested in getting involved, please attend a monthly Trails Committee meeting and say hello.

Friends of Sturbridge Trails
Better known as FROST, the Friends of Sturbridge Trails is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides additional funding to trails projects along with programming and events to the community.
There are several opportunities to volunteer or donate to FROST, which directly benefit trail infrastructure and sustainability. Check out the Events page for a schedule of future happenings.
