Plimpton Community Forest

Total Mileage: 3.8

A newer addition to the Sturbridge trails and one that continues to evolve. Endless stone walls, several stone foundations, and many historical landmarks that allude to mystery and lore.

Children and families are welcome on these trails but there are areas that require balance and coordination.

Mountain bikers love these trails because of their ruggedness and elevation. Expect to climb and enjoy the ride back down!

Spotting wildlife is almost a guarantee on this property as there are many natural, undisturbed habitats and low trail density.

While elevation is not as high as Leadmine Mountain or Wells State Park, Plimpton is not flat and you will feel the burn.
