The best water views lie on Long Pond Trail, an out and back system that starts on rt. 148 under the Mass Pike bridge and quickly turns into a hidden gem of serenity.
This property is appropriate for family hiking. Leashed and well behaved dogs are welcome, please pick up after them.
The pond and surrounding habitats have an abundance of water fowl and diverse wildlife.

The parking area is located where rt.90 passes over rt.148. There is parking available for 5-8 cars, please try to park to one side and allow rooms for others to enter and exit.
If this parking lot is full, DO NOT park on rt. 148. Enter Champeux Rd and park on the street at the other end of the one way trail and enjoy your hike in reverse.
