The Trustees

The Trustees of Reservations is a non-profit land conservation and historic preservation organization dedicated to preserving natural and historical places in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts including Tantiusques here in Sturbridge.

The Last Green Valley

The Last Green Valley is two things - it's the 35-town National Heritage Corridor in eastern Connecticut and south-central Massachusetts, and it’s also your member-supported, non-profit stewardship organization working for you in the National Heritage Corridor.  We help you to care for it, enjoy it, and pass it on to the next generation.

Experience Sturbridge

Sturbridge is a great destination that’s just a short drive down the road. Sturbridge offers activities such as entertainment, dining, breweries, shopping and more! And with several thousand acres of public land to explore, Sturbridge is an all-season playground for every type of outdoor enthusiast.

Mass Trails

MassTrails seeks to expand and connect the Commonwealth’s networks of off-road, shared-use pathways, and recreational trails for all users across Massachusetts. It does this by providing matching grants, technical assistance, and resources to individuals, municipalities, Native nations, non-profits, and other public entities to design, construct, and maintain high quality Massachusetts trails.

Opacum Land Trust

Opacum Land Trust, Inc. is a 13-town regional land conservation organization formed in 2000 to protect natural and cultural resources in South Central Massachusetts. These non-renewable resources include fertile farmland, lush green forests, river corridors, wetlands and watersheds, vernal pools, habitat for endangered animals and plants, scenic vistas, and historic and prehistoric sites.

SCMA NEMBA

South Central MA NEMBA is a community of mountain bikers committed to the creation and preservation of sustained, responsible, trail usage and access in Massachusetts. Through partnerships with the local community, trail builders, land managers, and businesses, SCMA NEMBA seeks to provide greater access to mountain biking through led group rides, free skills clinics, trail maintenance days, and ongoing events and education.

ACOE New England
